Although there is no definitive solution to get rid of large pores, there are some ingredients you can use to minimize their size. We have listed here three safe and common ingredients to help reduce the appearance of large pores, especially on your nose.
1. Salicylic Acid
Aside from being a famous acne solution, salicylic acid is also great for minimizing large pores. This is because it helps unclog pores by getting rid of dead skin cells. Just make sure to use it in moderation because it tends to dry out the skin [R].
This is one form of vitamin B3. It is a water-soluble vitamin that helps increase the elasticity of your skin. Niacinamide is not only good for large pores, but it also helps reduce uneven skin tone, dullness, wrinkles, acne, and fine lines. It basically helps in protein production and acts as a moisturizer to combat environmental damage to your skin. It also regulates the production of oil and reduces acne [R].
3. Green Tea
Another product that is good for large pores is green tea. There were a couple of studies conducted that showed green tea helps reduce oil production in the skin, which is one of the causes of large pores.
